Above the Clouds was very high on the mountain. I went with my boyfriend and two other couples, it was a couples retreat. The beautiful cabin was clean with three bedrooms and bathrooms on different levels. Our first night we had a bear to come turn over the garbage, so be aware. My husband Scott and I stayed at Above the Clouds from February 1-4, 2013. We normally bring all supplies including groceries with us, but this time we got in late and intended to go shopping the next day. Well, the snow started at about 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and by the time we were ready to go grocery shopping, we couldn't get down the mountain! We were stuck with three beers and some string cheese! Yikes! Fortunately, Lacey and company came to our rescue with several bags of groceries with sandwich fixins', breakfast food and snacks. Plus a gallon of sweet tea!!!
