Breakfast Spots in Blue Ridge, Georgia ☕️🍳

Let’s face it. Some of us (okay, definitely me) start planning our meals the moment we make a reservation for trips and vacations. I have said it before, but we are so incredibly lucky to have a vibrant local food scene here. To help you plan your vacation morning meals, here are some of my top picks for the best breakfast spots in Blue Ridge:
The Yellophant Café: This is a favorite of both locals and tourists. Beyond the classic items like French toast, muffins, and quiches, keep an eye out for their daily specials. Many options come with a fresh, crisp side salad! Their custom-crafted coffees are a must, and the atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy. Plus, it’s one of the few downtown gems with plenty of parking!
Mountain Mama’s Coffee: Quite possibly the cutest coffee shop you’ll ever step foot in! If you’re looking for “mountain-chic” vibes and artisanal flavors, this is your place. Their menu includes items like sourdough avocado toast topped with microgreens, sourdough waffles, and hearty breakfast burritos. You’ll find them right in downtown Blue Ridge.
Bumblee’s Café: This has been a local hotspot for many years. Bumblebee’s Cafe serves up comfort seven days a week, offering breakfast until 2:00 PM. While they offer the breakfast classics, I highly recommend the “Blue Ridge Benedict”—their personal take on eggs benedict, served with biscuits and gravy.
Pete’s Place: For a true Southern welcome, head over to Pete’s. On chilly mornings, you’ll be greeted by a roaring fire in the fireplace. It’s the ultimate spot for soulful staples like loaded omelets, fluffy pancakes, and the best biscuits and gravy in town.
Black Sheep: Prepare for a brunch experience you won’t forget. While their brunch window is limited (Saturdays 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Sundays 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM), you have to try it if you visit Blue Ridge! Start the table off with a pan of warm cinnamon rolls and a large French Press. If you’re looking for drinks, they have many great options, such as $4 Mimosas and $6 Bloody Mary cocktails. From their huevos rancheros to the chicken and red velvet waffles, the menu is as unique as it is delicious!
Suddenly, I want pancakes! 🥞
Enjoy your time in Blue Ridge, and look forward to some fantastic breakfasts!
Until next time,
