ATTENTION WATER LOVERS: You have just found paradise! This cozy authentic log cabin sits right on the banks of Fightingtown Creek, a designated trout stream famous in North Georgia!
Bear Creek Hideaway is the perfect place for your next getaway; you'll even drive through a small creek approaching the cabin! The main level has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, dining area, and living room with a wood-burning fireplace and satellite TV. The bedroom on this level has a locally handcrafted queen-size bed. The bathroom has a new tile shower!
The loft bedroom has another queen-size bed with a desk area for those who need to check in at work. The finished basement has an air hockey table, dartboard, and another living room area with satellite TV.
Both the main level and the basement level have lovely porches for you to sit back and relax on while listening to the sounds of nature. Down by the creek, you can enjoy the firepit, picnic table, hammock, and horseshoe pits. Bear Creek Hideaway is a great place to come and get away from it all!
Please Note: Bear Creek Hideaway is located off of a gravel road and you do have to cross over a small stream/branch to access the cabin. Extreme low sitting vehicles are not recommended. Four-wheel drive is not required, but vehicles with a higher ground clearance are recommended.
Please note: Fireplaces are available for use from October 1st to April 30th. .
Fire pits are also available year round, but firewood is not provided.

Outside trash receptacle is really small for a family of 4 staying more than 2 days. Cabin was perfect for us. That was really our only complaint.
Upon our early arrival, Bonnie was very helpful. We are very appreciative of that. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon. The Jacobsen Family
We really enjoyed the Bear Creek Hideaway. It was a much needed break from everyday life and was so relaxing to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The location is so beautiful and the cabin was one of the best stocked rentals we've stayed in. We had everything we needed for the perfect vacation.
Good stay in a spacious cabin. Fairly easy to find…Some of the roads there( Cashes Creek Rd, Cashes Creek Ln, Cashes Creek trail, Etc.) have very similar names to you have to pay attention to where you are. This cabin actually has two drive accesses to get in… One at the bottom of the stairs ( picture above) the other up top near the hot tub deck. It was quiet and peaceful at nights with the water rushing in the creek. We were a bit surprised by the traffic in and out of this area but I was told ther
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was the perfect size for us and we enjoyed wading in the creek. The only problem was the road going in and out was narrow. It needs some more gravel to fix holes.
We enjoyed our visit and the cabin was great.
