Fall in love with Falling Waters! This cozy, charming cabin is nestled among native pines in the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers creek frontage access just a short walk down the sloping hillside. You'll love all the beautiful handcrafted timbers inside this lovely rustic 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin. Falling Waters even has a two-car attached garage available for guest use!
You will access the main level via the entry porch which also offers a bubbling open-air hot tub, perfect for soaking away cares while stargazing. The main level has a beautiful stone and wood full kitchen with a dining table with seating for 5 in chairs plus a bench for more seating. The dining room also has a cozy bay window for dining with a view! The living space around the corner has a beautiful stone gas log fireplace, open-air timber beams, comfy leather seating, and a flat-screen TV. This level also offers a beautiful master bedroom complete with a king-size bed and TV, and access to the bathroom featuring a tile shower and granite single vanity. Just off the main-level living space is the deck overlooking the hillside and down toward the creek frontage on Fightingtown Creek. This deck offers a gas grill and four rocking chairs for long talks over coffee or evening wine.
Upstairs, you will find the other two bedrooms, second bathroom, and open loft. Each bedroom offers a king-size bed and TV, and the bath on this level has a single vanity and shower/tub combo. The open loft offers two individual twin-size beds for extra sleeping space.
Ready to check out the creek? Take a walk down the gentle rolling gravel road to the creek frontage that has a firepit, seating, and even a mounted bench swing for enjoying the water's edge. Great cabin! No shampoo was a surprise Should not be listed as Fighting town creek…it is little fighting town creek with no real access to the actual creek except a good wade…this was a a disappointment. Thanks
We enjoyed this cabin so so much! The location was great for what we needed, the hot tub was wonderful, the creek was so sweet to sit by every afternoon, and the front porch was occupied for hours each day. The cabin was clean and fresh with just one exception. The bedspread on one bed had an odor to it that had me wondering if it was clean. Aside from that, I loved that the sheets were cotton (if you are tired of hot polyester at every vacation rental, you get it!). Customer service was always wonderfu
Falling waters is great 2 story cabin. Great backyard for the kids and dogs to play. Short walk to the creek and outdoor fire pit. Location is a few minutes from downtown. We love renting from Mountain Top Rentals. We've been using them for years
