Mountain View Lodge is the perfect name for this beautiful, scenic cabin, and it has all the amenities you have been looking for! The main attraction is the undisturbed view of the US Forest Service Land and the tranquil setting on the mountainside. The access is all paved and the drive is beautiful, only about 8 miles from downtown Blue Ridge.
The main-level exterior features a ramp from the parking area onto a large wrap-around porch that is partially screened with a stone wood-burning fireplace, outdoor dining, and a propane grill. The porch also features rocking chairs for enjoying the relaxing mountain views! Inside the cabin on the main level, you will find the inviting great room with leather sofas, a gas log fireplace, TV with satellite, dining table for 6, and a well-stocked custom kitchen complete with stainless appliances and tile countertops. All three bedrooms in this cabin have a custom-built king-size bed made by local craftsmen. These talented craftsmen built a majority of the wooden pieces in this cabin and the pride in workmanship is obvious. Each of the three bedrooms also has high-end luxury bedding and TV with satellite. The cabin is on three levels and each level has one of the three bedrooms as well as a full bath, making this cabin perfect for couples or a family that likes space to spread out. The king-size master suite is on the upper level with a private bath including a jetted garden tub. This room also offers a private covered balcony ideal for enjoying your morning cup of tea or coffee while the birds sing and the day begins. Plan a private wine tasting for two as the evening turns to a starry night!
Travel down to the finished basement level and you will find a second gas log fireplace, a TV with satellite, and a full-size pool table. This family/game room will be one of your favorite places to relax and spend time with your company.

Guest services was over and above. We had some neighbor issues and even though "our" management company could not do anything they provided helpful guidance and followed up. Very nice cabin.
Great view from top of the ridge.
We loved the cabin and the view was amazing!! Had a nice welcoming gift upon arrival which was put to use for breakfast 2 mornings we were there. We do plan on returning to this same cabin in the future. The only suggestion I would make is better lighting in the kitchen.
Cabin was a little remote (winding road). Wi-Fi / internet is very weak especially for wi-fi calling. Cabin was very nice. Great time.
Beautiful views, clean and comfortable accommodations for a family of 5 to spread out and relax. Close proximity to an adorable downtown area, apple orchard, and beautiful hiking trails. Great place to unwind and relax with family!
First off Mountain Top Cabin rentals is the best rental company I've ever worked with. They are the friendliest with great communication and follow up with any questions I would have as well as during my stay. This year I left my dog leashes and they immediately ship them to me the next day. Mountain View Lodge has a breathtaking view, quiet, clean, serene. My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. Plenty of room with each level having a king size bedroom and full baths. Pool table was a blast for the family competitors. 🙂 The hot tub was a hit. Beautiful views and the cabin being on a paved road all the way was definitely a plus. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities needed with everything but the food. Thank you for our welcome package of breakfast items. It definitely helped with us arriving at 11:00pm and no time to get groceries. T
We had an awesome family weekend! I love that there are 3 King sized beds and the layout of the cabin is roomy and ideal. The view is beautiful from the whole back of the cabin. The screened porch is awesome and would love to enjoyed but the temps were too cold. We look forward to coming back here real soin!
The description of this cabin was very accurate! I love that! It really helps when deciding what cabin to pick. The amenities at the cabin were the best I've seen. I loved the decorations as well, made it very holiday friendly.
